Green Expos Debut in South Florida
Three new expos debut today in South Florida, starting in West Palm Beach as the Get Green Today Expo opens. What does it mean to be green and why do the expo creators want you to get green today?
“Green” has come to symbolize a new way of thinking. As more people move and settle in the Sunshine state it is critical that we address consumption issues. We see southern states, like Georgia and Tennessee, dealing with drought and water shortages and the soaring cost of energy is dramatically impacting the economy. Caring consumers and business alike can see into the near future and realize it’s time to change gears.
Get Green Today Expo is a new venue created to raise awareness and create exposure for cleaner, greener products and services. There are so many little things consumers can do better to use less power, conserve water and live better, saving money and lessening their individual impact on our resources. From health, beauty and wellness to exciting new technologies, we’re excited about the opportunity to help bring these better ways of doing things to Floridians.
Headlining the expo is the snappy electric car from Zenn Motors. Visitors will line up today to test drive the Zenn. Electric transportation is here today, and you don’t have to be a Hollywood celebrity or former Vice President of the United States to be able to afford one. AC Graphics, Florida’s first triple-certified clean printer will show us how to print greener. And Bob Nichols, from Grassy Waters Preserve delivers the keynote talking about their amazing vision for a community that lives in harmony with nature.
GreenOrlando and sister publication, GreenBrevard support the Expo as media partners, and will cover the event and write about it, bringing you all the latest in the green world. After these three events in South Florida, we’ll help bring a new series to Orlando and the Space Coast, with dates coming soon.
We’ve also partnered with the Expo producers, the Goddess Group, to create and build Get Green Directory, a new resource that helps consumers connect with businesses. Show off your green!
